Along the Banana River is Cape Canaveral, FL is Manatee Sanctuary Park. The park is located right along the river and offers a nice boardwalk. The park also has a path that runs throughout the park including around the pond. Additionally, there is a playground, horseshoe pits, and picnic tables for visitors to enjoy. We visited a couple of times when staying nearby and had a nice time strolling along the boardwalk and meandering throughout the park. Due to the name, we searched for manatee, but unfortunately never saw any; however, we enjoyed the walking path along the river.
