Washington Wine Week – Day 2

Sheridan Vineyard is located in the central Yakima Valley, near the town of Zillah. The winery was founded in 1996 and continues to produce small batches of wine, especially red varietals and blends. The winery is located on a small property amongst a variety of other farms and vineyards and features some rather lovely garden areas. The tasting room has a bit of an old-world style, with cream-colored walls and dark wood accents. Inside, however, the tasting room is spacious and quite modern. On our visit, there were very few people, so we were able to have the space nearly to ourselves. We were able to taste several of Sheridan’s wines in a tasting flight, and found them to be enjoyable. Overall, Sheridan Vineyard is a fine place to try Yakima Valley wines.
