Due to a shellfish allergy, travels along the coast can be a little difficult for us to find places to eat. During a recent visit to the coast we stopped at Gold Beach BBQ, which provided us with a shellfish free place to eat. Gold Beach BBQ is right along the 101, making it an easy stopping point. The restaurant is in a non-assuming building right off the road with just a couple of tables outside. Once inside, the room is simple with tiled floors, large windows, views of the kitchen and checkered table clothes. The menu is fairly standard bbq restaurant, so it provides an alternative to classic coastal food.
