One of our favorite places in all of St. Louis is Bowood Farms. Located in the upper part of the Central West End, Bowood Farms is a large complex that features a store with an assortment of goods, a restaurant, and a large plant nursery. The store, Holliday, is across the street from the main complex and offers various home goods. The nursery features a wide variety of different plants and the grounds are quite lovely. One of the best features is that there are also a variety of native species available, helping those who want to plant a native garden. Although we go for particular plants, we also visit to just wander the grounds and discover something new! Bowood Farms is a delightful visit year round and we definitely recommend a visit.
