In downtown Cocoa Village, right across from the waterfront park, is Village Bier Garten. The restaurant is located in one-story building that is fairly open-air allowing visitors to enjoy the nice Florida weather. In the center is a stage and a large green area for activities. The menu consists of standard German and pub food. When we visited we had the schnitzel, kartoffelsalat, gurkensalat, and spätzle. The food was decent, and we visited during Oktoberest, so we were able to sit and enjoy some music with our dinner. If you are in the Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral area and want to have some German food and enjoy the Florida weather, the Village Bier Garten provides an opportunity to sit outside and have a meal.
