One of our favorite places in the area is Zaya Cafe in the food court at Point Ruston in Tacoma. Zaya Cafe is a small stand to the left as soon as you walk in that highlights Ukrainian food and desserts. There is a large display case filled with baked goods, as well as a few different pierogi options. We frequently visit and our favorite is the potato pierogi and the honey cake (we HIGHLY recommend). The portions are quite large so we usually split a pierogi bowl and then enjoy some baked goods. Every time friends or family come to visit, we take them to Zaya for some yummy food and delicious sweets!
