Cascade Cliffs Vineyard & Winery originated in the Columbia River Gorge, one of Washington’s wine-producing regions. However, Cascade Cliffs has now grown to include four locations, including three additional tasting rooms in Hood River, Oregon; one in the northern Seattle suburb of Woodinville; and one in the Seattle neighborhood of Georgetown. We visited Cascade Cliffs’s tasting room in Woodinville, which is located in a small modern building alongside a couple of other businesses. Because of this, the tasting room is rather small, with just a few tables and tasting bar. The walls are painted yellow with some lovely pictures of Cascade Cliffs’s vineyard on the walls and nice wood accents, including some tree stump tables.

We were able to try several Cascade Cliffs wines in a tasting flight, including the winery’s specialty, Barbera. Our host also poured several additional wines for us, so we got to try several more of Cascade Cliffs’s wines. Our visit to Cascade Cliffs was a pleasant one, especially because there were so few people in the tasting room, and the wines we tried were quite nice. We recommend Cascade Cliffs, either the Woodinville location or one of the other locations.
