Right along Puget Sound is Chambers Creek Regional Park in the South Sound. The park is a large city park that provides visitors with the opportunity to golf, head to the beach, walk along trails, enjoy grassy knolls, and take in a nice view. Additionally, there are sporting fields, a playground, an Environmental Science Building, and events throughout the year. Recently, on a lovely spring day, we stopped off at the park, and it was not too crowded. Chambers Creek Regional Park provided us an opportunity to just enjoy another view of Puget Sound in a relaxed setting with a nice spring breeze. Often places along the Sound are quite crowded during nice days, so Chambers Creek Regional Park is a nice alternative!
