The Saint Louis University Museum of Art, also known is SLUMA, is situated in the midst of Saint Louis University’s (SLU’s) campus. Right along Lindell, the museum is a beautiful and ornate building. The building has been a part of St. Louis history for over a 100 years with many prominent and formal events taking place in it, and most recently, the building has been utilized to house some of SLU’s art collection. There are three different art museums on SLU’s campus and SLUMA’s collection contains a variety of different pieces, both old and modern, as well as a section focused on church history through various art forms. Additionally, the museum offers rotating exhibits, ensuring that you can explore something new! We visited when the weather outside was not very nice, and found it to be a nice, low-key indoor activity for free.
