Located in South Haven, a small lake-side town in southwest Michigan, Three Blondes Brewing is a restaurant and brewpub. The brewery is located in an unassuming, warehouse-looking storefront. Inside, however, is a sleek, modern restaurant with an industrial vibe–clean lines, metal chairs and accents, and bold but contrasting colors.

While Three Blondes describes itself as a brewery–and the brewing implements are visible through windows in the restaurant–the establishment very much feels like a brewpub, rather than a brewery with food. The brewery has an extensive food menu that features modern, artisanal takes on traditional pub-style food (including a number of vegetarian and vegan options), such as salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, and tacos. We shared a basic salad and a margherita pizza, both of which made a nice meal. We also shared a couple beers, which added to the meal. Three Blondes features a number of traditional styles of beer with several more experimental brews, usually featuring the use of refreshing fruit, vegetables, or herbs.

Three Blondes Brewing was a pleasant way to spend dinner and makes a nice local place to hang out with friends and grab a beer and bite to eat.
