Ingredients:
Drizzle of Olive oil
1 cup of chicken broth or 1 cup water and 1 bouillon cube
2-4 cloves chopped garlic
2-3 table spoons of flour
2 juniper berries
1 bay leaf
Chicken tenders
Sprinkle of pepper
Begin by drizzling a little olive oil in a saucepan. Then add 1 cup of chicken broth or a cup of water and a bouillon cube. While the saucepan heats up, chop the garlic and add to the saucepan. Next sprinkle in a little bit of flour and blend the mixture. Add juniper berries, a bay leaf, and a sprinkle of pepper and allow it to come to a slow simmer. Next add the chicken tenders and let them simmer in the saucepan. Cook until the chicken is cooked through. You are left with a flavorful dish that includes a nice garlic sauce. A fun extra addition to this dish, is a splash of white wine in the sauce.
Side Note: We placed the chicken on top of some fresh cooked rice for a delicious dish.
