Located in the midst of downtown St. Louis is Blondies Coffee & Wine Bar. The fun little restaurant is on the first floor of an Art Deco-style high rise. On the outside there is few a tables and chair in the front and then along the side of the building, there is am expansive outdoor seating area. Once inside there are light and metallic colors throughout, creating a relaxed space. Large windows allow visitors to feel both as if they are outside and cozy inside. Seating consists of a wide assortment of bar tops, big cozy chairs, and standard restaurant-style seating, providing a variety of options.

The menu is centered around brunch-esque foods, but there is also an extensive drink menu as the name would suggest. There is a wide assortment of sandwiches, eggs, popovers, and pastries, but also classic dishes such as pancakes, french toast, and waffles for breakfast options. For lunch options, the menu offers salads, sandwiches, soups, wraps, and burgers. Additionally, there is both a large drink menu and alcohol drink menu, depending on what you are interested in. The drink menu provides an assortment of coffee drinks, but also tea and even a smoothie. Finally, for those interested, the alcohol drink menu consits of wine, martinis, beer, and cocktails. We have visited a couple times and typically gotten a pastry, wrap, or a black bean burger with a fun coffee drink. Each time the food and drinks have come out fairly quickly and tasty! Since one of us works downtown, it also makes for a great place to order ahead and pick-up lunch. Blondies provides an assortment of food and drink beverages downtown, in a nice setting that we hope continues to help serve as a staple in the revitalization of Downtown/Downtown West.

Side note: This is a great place to grab lunch if you are serving jury duty down the street! Plus, they offer catering, which has worked out well for events downtown.
