Kirkwood Park is located in the center of the Kirkwood community. The park is home to an assortment of recreation opportunities, including a pool, ice rink, athletic fields and courts, picnic pavilions, a playground, and an amphitheater. Additionally, the park has a nice little lake and rolling hills, as well as a community garden for visitors to enjoy the outdoors. The park is quite extensive, so when we visited we spent the afternoon walking up and down the hills and enjoying the wooded areas and the lake. Throughout the year there is an assortment of activities at the park, making it a great place to visit all year.
