Restaurant Week – Day 4 (Takeout Version)

Pizza is always a great take-out option and Pi Pizzeria has become a St. Louis staple. Pi Pizzeria originated in St. Louis, but also is located now in the D.C. area, as well as Iraq. There are St. Louis locations in The Loop, Chesterfield, Glendale, Downtown, and the Central West End (CWE). We have always visited the CWE location and it was actually one of the first places we went to for a date. The CWE location is located on the first floor of a brick building on a corner. The first floor has a white exterior with bright red windows and doors, and there tables and chairs for visitors to eat outside. Inside the room features tall ceilings with benches with tables lining the entire exterior for visitors to dine at. There is a bar situated in the middle of the room and the rest of the space is filled with seating options for visitors. There are wood beams, single bulbs hanging, elements of metal throughout, and accents of red, white, and wood.

The menu is situated around pizza, but there is also appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and dessert. There is a variety of standard pizzas, specialty, and build-your-own pizzas, allowing visitors to find something to suit their tastes. Additionally, Pi has both deep dish and thin-crust, providing a nice variety of options. Each time we have visited we have ordered a couple of pizzas to share to try some different flavors, but also have some fun leftovers. Our personal preference is typically a thin-crust pizza and more of a classic style of flavors, but the specialty pis are good too! Besides food, Pi often has an assortment of cocktails and local craft beers of tap, making it a great place to grab some quality pizza and drinks. We definitely recommend grabbing some pizza to-go for some fun flavors and tasty pizza!
