The brewery is located on the corner of Forest Park Ave off of highway 64, making it easily accessible from the highway. Twisted Roots is in a two-story brick and stucco building with some patio seating in the front. Inside the decor has concrete floors, wood tables, metal chairs, white walls with an assortment of art, and a cooper bar. The back wall is glass, providing visitors a view of the beer equipment.

The menu consists of beer, obviously, appetizers, salads, burgers, and pizza. All of the burgers can made vegetarian and there is an assortment of vegetarian options, providing a nice array for visitors. When we visited we sat outside on the small patio and ordered an assortment of beers, a Caesar salad, and a burger, Cuz Ya Basic. The beers we ordered were each nice, good flavors, and well-suited for a relaxing day on a patio, and the food was incredible! We both found the food to be flavorful, well-prepared, and delicious. Since we sat out on the patio, we were able to enjoy a nice breeze, good beer, great food, and a view of the arch!
