For those in the South County area, J’s PItaria is a great and easy way to grab some Mediterranean/Bosnian cuisine. The restaurant is located right off of Lindbergh in the Sappington area. J’s Pitaria is in a smaller two-story brick strip mall with only a few other establishments. There are large windows in the front allowing light to pour in. Once inside the counter is on the right, while a long booth with tables is on the left. There are a few tables throughout the rest of the space, and decor is light and airy, with images of the Mediterranean and bright colorful accents.

The menu is primarily centered around Bosnian cuisine such as pljeskavica and ustipci but also has broader Mediterranean dishes such as falaffel and gyros. When we visited we ordered the flatbread and a gyro, which were both well-prepared, flavorful, and tasty. The flavors were fairly classic versions of each of the dishes, but were fresh and not overly heavy. We had ordered J’s Pitaria for an outside picnic with family and our family also ordered an array of dishes that they enjoyed. J’s Pitaria made for a nice and easy picnic lunch and for those in the South County area is a great place to grab some Mediterranean/Bosnian cuisine.
