Noboleis Vineyards is located amidst the rolling hills north of the Missouri River along Missouri’s Weinstraße just outside of Augusta. Rows of grape vines radiate from the winery’s tasting room and event space. The tasting room is a rather plain, one-story structure with yellow siding and a red roof. Inside, there are a few wine-related accessories and Noboleis bottles for purchase as you walk in, leading to a simple bar area where servers provide wine tastings and pours. We were able to purchase a wine flight, which we took outside to a large event space, enjoying our wine in a tent overlooking some of Noboleis’s vineyards.

We were able to try a variety of red and white wines, all of which we enjoyed, though our favorite was an oaked white, Baril de Blanc. We also recommend trying the Norton, Missouri’s most famous wine-producing grape. If you’d like to enjoy your wine with a bit of food, such as a meat and cheese plate, Noboleis has a few options to accompany your wine. Overall, we found our time spent at Noboleis to be fun and relaxing and think it is a good place to stop along the Weinstraße.
