Located along Cherokee Street in the Marine Villa neighborhood is Kalbi Taco Shack, which is a combination of Asian and Mexican. Kalbi Taco Shack is located on the corner in a three-story brick building that has a bright green ornately decorated store front. In the back there is patio sitting for visitors with picnic benches. Inside it is a small room with bright colored walls and tiled ceilings. Due to the ongoing situation, our recent visit we were confined to pick-up, but the meal did not disappoint.

We had a socially distanced picnic lunch with family and we ordered an assortment of dishes. Their menu consists primarily of tacos, burritos, bowls, sandwiches, and quesadillas and our party ordered sweet & spicy jackfruit taco, sweet & spicy chicken taco, bacon egg and cheese taco, sweet & spicy pan-seared cod burrito, teriyaki chicken burrito, brunch burrito, sweet and spicy pan-seared cod bowl, the teriyaki chicken bowl, chips and salsa, and Vietnamese iced coffee. Every single member of our party loved their food! All of us found the food to be flavorful, well-prepared, and delicious, Vietnamese iced coffee was rich and decadent, making for a great meal. We are definitely looking forward to ordering Kalbi Taco Shack again, and, hopefully, visiting in person in the near future!
