St. Louis Restaurants – Day 4

A growing St. Louis chain is Sauce on the Side, which started in downtown St. Louis and now has eight locations, including two that are in Indiana. Sauce on the Side is focused on large calzones and salads. We recently visited the location in The Grove that is in a cute two-story brick building. Inside the restaurant consists of two open rooms with bright blue walls, industrial furniture, big booths, wooden floors, and a bar seated in the center, with views of the kitchen. When we visited we ordered the Five-O, the Build-Your-Own, and a ceasar salad. The salad was very tasty, and the calzones were not only tasty, but massive, so we ended up eating only half of each and taking the rest home for seconds. We visited on a weekday around dinnertime and were quickly served our phone, making for an easy quick bite to eat. We found Sauce on the Side to be a fun St. Louis restaurant to visit.
