The Heritage Square in Peoria Heights, Illinois is a three-story brick complex featuring several different restaurants and bars located around an open-air courtyard. It’s a lovely structure with a bit of New Orleans-style architecture. It also functions as a nice communal space. One of the bars in Heritage Square is Pour Bros. Craft Taproom, a bar that specializes in craft beer. However, Pour Bros. is unique in that customers are able to pour their beer themselves. Customers open a tab at the bar as they would any other bar, but instead of ordering a beer, they receive a card. Then, customers can grab a glass and pour a beer from the adjacent wall. Pour Bros. has a wide array of craft beers to choose from, and customers can scan the screens above the taps in order to learn a bit more about each beer. Once a customer decides what beer they would like, they can swipe their card and pour as much of a beer as they would like. In this way, customers can sample several beers or have a glass of their favorite. The bar also offers wine and cocktails for those not wanting beer. Once customers have their drink, they can enjoy it in the industrial style tap room with lots of metal and wood on the walls, tables, and chairs.

Pour Bros. Craft Taproom was a fun experience offering a wide-range of craft beer and a relaxed environment in which to enjoy it. We recommend checking it out.
