Fall Festivals & Events – Day 2

A fun fall festival is the Romanian Festival at St. Thomas the Apostle Romanian Orthodox Church in the neighborhood of St. Louis Hills. The festival provides visitors with the opportunity to try Romanian food, see a beautiful church, and learn more about Romanian culture. The event takes places each year in mid-October and is a fairly low-key event in comparison to many cultural festivals, allowing you to just sit and relax. The festival is in the church’s basement and then provides the opportunity to go up and visit the church. We have visited a couple times and each time enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about Romanian culture, enjoy some good food, and have the ability to partake in a local festival in our neighborhood.
