Park Week – Day 1

Although it is cold out, we love to still get out and go for a walk. Meramec Landing Park is located along Meramec River, just past 270 in Valley Park. The park is across the street from Simpson Park, and provides a nice getaway. We recently visited after grabbing enjoying a lunch at Crazy Bowls and Wraps, and afterwards, we headed out for a walk. The trail is nicely paved, making it easily accessible, and runs alongside the Meramec River, providing a pleasant view while walking, running, or biking. There is one primary trail that runs next to the river for visitors to use. Although the park is not very big, it is ideal for a short walk or a place to getaway during lunch. We both enjoyed walking along the trail and enjoying the nature views.
