Coffee Week – Day 2

We recently visited Blueprint Coffee, which as two locations in St. Louis. Blueprint is located in the Delmar neighborhood, and the Lindenwood Park neighborhood. When we visited we went to the Lindenwood Park location since it is within walking distance. The new location is in an old auto mechanic facility and utilizes the old character of the building, while making it its own. The outside states, “Reliable Break Service” to play off the autos past, but providing visitors with a new coffee break. Blueprint Coffee also kept the roll-up doors to allow the indoor space to become incorporated with the outside on a nice day; however, if the weather isn’t permitting, the inside provides a nice space. The inside is painted with bright blue walls, bright accent chairs, and wooden benches, while the back wall serves as the coffee bar. In the back there is a small patio for visitors to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Blueprint is known for their coffee roasting, and shops throughout St. Louis utilize their roasted beans. Blueprint also offers various classes and tastings that teach visitors about growing and brewing coffee. When we visited we came with family and each got something different. The coffee was served in a container that looked like a test tube, making it a fun way to serve coffee. We all agreed that the coffee was delightfully prepared and the lattes were delicious. The atmosphere and the coffee made Blueprint Coffee a great place to grab a cup of coffee and have a relaxed afternoon.
