Located in Brooklyn Heights is Sociale Brooklyn, which is located near the R, A/C, and 2/3 lines, making it easily accessible from Manhattan as well. The restaurant is located on the corner at the bottom of a beautiful brick building. During warmer months, the windows open out to the nice outside eating, and help to create a blend between the indoors and outdoors. Inside the restaurant the walls are white painted bricks with nice wooden tables and a bar in the back, while the decor is simple, with a couple mirrors, accent lights, and candles on the table.

We visited to celebrate our four year anniversary and loved that the restaurant was within walking distance of our apartment; however, we ended up finding the Sociale Brooklyn provided a lovely evening of fine dining in a nice setting. The restaurant is known for Italian cuisine; however, the cuisine was a slight twists on standards as dishes were presented in an artisanal manner. We both ordered some wine, which was nice, and the Lasagna alla Bolognese and pumpkin ravioli. Both of our meals were delightful. Afterwards, we finished with the tiramisu, which was delicious and so light it melted in your mouth. Overall, we found Sociale Brooklyn to be one of our favorite restaurants in all of New York.
