A cute little Italian restaurant next to Dō along LaGuardia Park and just south of Washington Square Park is Tre Giovani. The outside has a few tables underneath an awning and a few little trees to create a nice atmosphere. The outside seating backs up to large glasses windows that on a nice day are open, allowing air to flow into the restaurant. The restaurant is rather small, but exudes charm. The walls are brick and there are wood beams going up to the ceiling, as well as wood beams running across the ceiling. Along the walls, there are a pieces of art decorating the walls. Overall, the room is small with a few tables and in the back there is a small bar.

We visited for lunch one day and were able to sit at one of the tables right along the open glass doors, which allowed us to experience a nice breeze. Typically, we order pizza at Italian restaurants; however, we had just had pizza so we decided to try a couple pasta dishes, and they were delightful! The pasta was absolutely incredible and the service was good too. The atmosphere, food, and the service made Tre Giovani one of our favorite New York City restaurants.

Side Note: Although we had the pasta, they are known for their pizza too!
