Located along LaGuardia Park is Bareburger a New York City burger bar chain that has now begun to spread across the United States. We visited the location in the heart of Greenwich Village, making it ideal for NYU students and professors. The LaGuardia location has a large outdoor eating patio, while the inside is filled with woods, to create a rustic feeling. The floor, walls, tables, chairs, and ceiling is all wood, while the lights are open bulbs surrounded by metal netting. At the back end of the restaurant is a bar as well, so visitors have several seating options. We sat near the front of the restaurant in a window seat.

The restaurant is known for its burgers; however, they have other options that reflect a diner-style menu. The menu includes shakes, salads, sandwiches, desserts, appetizers, and of course burgers, as well as a variety of vegan options. Since we visited a burger bar we decided to both get burgers, and found that them to be quite tasty! There was also an abundance of delicious fries! Along with our meal we got a local beer, making for the perfect meal. Additionally, Bareburger is known for locally sourcing their ingredients so their websites allow you to click on each menu item to find out where the ingredients in each meal come from. We both had been wanting to try Bareburger for awhile since it was so close to work and school and were quite pleased at the opportunity to try a new burger bar!
