A less visited bridge by visitors to New York City is the Manhattan Bridge, yet it is equally impressive. The Manhattan Bridge connects China Town to Dumbo/Vinegar Hill and is great for a way to see the city scape or get some exercise. We went a couple weeks ago when it was still a bit warmer and really enjoyed the walk across. When we visited we walked across to China Town and then back again to Dumbo/Vinegar Hill; however, either end you are at provides you with some fun activities. In China Town you can grab a delicious bite to eat and in Dumbo/Vinegar Hill there are parks along the piers, various restaurants, and great views of Manhattan. Dumbo/Vinegar Hill is one of our absolute favorite neighborhoods so we enjoyed hanging out there after walking across the bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge is known for its neat architecture and history, but when you walk across you can’t capture the Brooklyn Bridge fully. Yet, when you walk on the Manhattan Bridge it provides you with views of both the city scape and the Brooklyn Bridge. The Manhattan Bridge makes for a fun and free afternoon of exploring!

One of my favorite Brooklyn bridges, because it is not so congested like the Brooklyn Bridge.
