Recently we meant a friend at Turntable Chicken Jazz, which is a Korean BBQ restaurant with a few locations now throughout Manhattan. We went to the location in Koreatown and it was quite packed, so be prepared to wait a bit for a table. Both of us had been wanting to try Korean BBQ for sometime and were excited  for the opportunity. The menu consists of primarily Korean BBQ; however, there are a few other options as well. We decided to get half & half on the flavors to try both the soy garlic and the hot sauces. The chicken was quite tasty and well cooked. We also got a Korean beer to complete that meal and it was very good. The restaurant itself was a fun setting, with wood beams, low lighting, and an industrial vibe. Since the place is quite popular it is loud in there, so be warned this may not be the perfect spot for a date or to catch up with old friends; however, it is full of energy. There is a long bar as well, so if you are just wanting to grab drinks, Turntable has the perfect opportunity for that. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Turntable Chicken Jazz and decided Korean BBQ is quite tasty!
