Day 4 – Puget Sound Farm Week
Bailey Farm is a fifth-generation farm in Snohomish offering u-pick produce. Bailey has few frills; there are only a couple of very small buildings to weigh produce and pay. Aside from that, the farm is simply farm land with a variety of fruits and vegetables. The produce depends on the season, of course, but Bailey Farm offers root vegetables such as beets and onions, herbs such as dill and parsley, and other vegetables such as corn, green beans, and zucchini. Different areas of the farm are clearly marked, and visitors are able to peruse the vegetables at their leisure. Part of Bailey Farm’s land contains apple orchards, so visitors can also pick a variety of apples. While there aren’t many amenities, there is a barn which offers kettle corn, donuts, and cider for sale on weekends. Although Bailey Farm is simple, it offers a plethora of produce for visitors to pick.
