Day 3 – Puget Sound Farm Week

A more recent farm to open is McMillan Farm & Brewhouse. McMillan is located in the small town of McMillan, WA, near Puyallup, WA. The center piece is a large red barn on the property, and then there is a smaller building that houses the farmers market and brewery. The farm has activities throughout the year including pumpkin picking, Christmas trees and decorations, a farmers market with seasonal goods and items, and a brewery. Additionally, they now offer a variety of events, such as paint and sip classes, karaoke, candle making, and music performances. We have visited a couple times for pumpkins, a Christmas wreath, some seasonal produce, and beer. Compared to other nearby farms, McMillan has been a bit more laid back; however, it has become more busy the last couple years.
