While visiting John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, we stayed at Cllyde Holiday State Recreation Area and in the morning we found Timbers Bistro in the town of John Day. The restaurant appears to be a former fast food building that has been converted to a local cafe. When we visited we were in a bit of a hurry, so we went through the drive through. The menu consisted of coffee, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked goods. When we visited we grabbed a couple of bagels and some coffee for a nice start before exploring the national park site!
