Located in the southeast portion of Washington state is one of the most popular state parks, Palouse Falls State Park Heritage Site. The park is located in LaCrosse, WA, and is focused around the waterfall that drops a couple of hundred feet to a large pool below. Palouse Falls offers beautiful views, as well as the opportunity to picnic, hike, and grill. The park is quite popular so it gets quite crowded. When we visited, we were thankfully able to get one of the last parking spots and then walked along to take in different views of the falls. The falls themselves are quite beautiful and are even more lovely as they are embedded into the ravines. For those in eastern Washington, Palouse Falls is a beautiful place to visit.
