In the little town of Callicoon, NY, right along the Delaware, and attached to a gas station is a little diner, Callicoon Caffe. Downtown Callicoon is small, but features several restaurants, and Callicoon Caffe provides visitors with a classic breakfast, brunch, and lunch option. Inside there are tall ceilings, large windows, and large wooden benches. Family lives in the area so we have visited several times with them. We have tried a couple of different things from the menu (primarily from the breakfast section), and each time, the food has been standard American diner food in a nice setting along the river. For those in the area, if you are looking for a casual diner experience with river views, Callicoon Caffe is a pleasant visit.
