Ezra Meeker is well-known throughout the south sound for his impact on the area and visitors can learn more about him by visiting his home in Puyallup, WA. The home is just down the street from the Puyallup Square and is a multi-story home with ornate architectural features. The Meeker Mansion has been preserved by the historical society and visitors can now tour the home to learn more about the Meekers, Puyallup, and the history of the region. Besides the tour, the mansion offers events throughout the year for visitors to engage with the site further. When we visited, it was during the Christmas season, so the house was beautifully decorated. The tour is not too long, making it an easy, fun activity. We both enjoyed touring the home and learning more about the region on a cold winter day.
