Odd Otter Brewing Company is located in downtown Tacoma in a small, old storefront. Hanging above the front door is a sign with Odd Otter’s logo, perhaps the most fun brewery logo you’ll ever see–a cute sea otter’s face wearing glasses made from the two O’s in the name “Odd Otter.” Inside, much of the old charm from the building, as well as some of the quirks, remains. The space is rather small, but in a cozy, rather than cramped, way. There’s a small bar area to the right as you walk in, where you can order beer, merchandise, and even postcards of otters in famous paintings. Odd Otter always has a number of beers on tap, including some standards and favorites, along with a rotating cast of new beers. There’s also a mix of classic beer styles and those with fun or interesting twists. Whatever happens to be on tap, most visitors to Odd Otter should be able to find at least a couple of beers that they would be interested in. We’ve been able to try a number of beers at the Odd Otter on our different visits, and we have enjoyed each of the well-crafted beers.

Odd Otter Brewing is a fun place to grab a beer or two. Come for the fun name and logo; stay for the relaxing atmosphere and good beer.
