Seattle-Tacoma Restaurant Week – Day 5

One of the things we miss most about New York City is the bagels and we were happy to find a delicious (but different-style) bagel spot in Seattle, Eltana. The bagels are wood-fired, made with honey water, and utilize a variety of different yummy spices for an assortment of bagel flavors, as well a plethora of fun spread options.

There are two Eltana locations, one in Capital Hill and one in Stone Way. When we visited, we went to the Stone Way location, which is in a multi-story modern building. Inside the decor is sleek with white subway tiles and wooden accents. Besides bagels, they offer salads, soups, sandwiches, and a variety of warm beverages. During our visit we got a couple of bagels and a coffee. The bagels were fantastic and we enjoyed some delicious smears! For anyone who enjoys bagels we definitely recommend a visit to Eltana.
