Seattle-Tacoma Restaurant Week – Day 2

A delightful little Scandinavian bakery is Byen Bakeri in Seattle. The bakeri is in a small one-story brick building with a quaint little awning and several tables and chairs for visitors to sit out front. Once inside there is a glass cabinet that runs along most of one side of the room that is filled with baked goods. Byen serves bread, pastries, cakes, desserts, sandwiches, quiche, and Scandinavian goods, as well as coffee and tea options. When we visited it was quite busy so we got a few different baked goods, as well as a coffee to go. We brought the baked goods home and enjoyed some delicious treats!
