A unique and historic place in Oregon that visitors can stay at is, Wolf Creek Inn, in Wolf Creek, Oregon. The inn serves as an active inn and restaurant, as well as a heritage site part of the Oregon State Parks system. Wolf Creek Inn is situated on the corner of the small town in a two-story inn from 1883 that is the oldest active inn in the state. The building is structured in a classic travelers inn from the 1800s and has large grounds filled with an orchard. Since it is part a historic site, the inn also houses a small little museum that highlights the history of the Wolf Creek Inn. Throughout the inn, there is an attention to historic details, creating a living history museum of sorts for visitors to stay in.

When we visited we stayed one night and loved the attention to detail. We explored the small museum, walked along the orchards, and enjoyed the back patio that housed some fun outdoor games. The rooms were nice, clean, and had an assortment of antique furniture the maintained the historic charm throughout the rooms. The restaurant was not open the day we visited, but is available Thursday through Sunday for visitors to enjoy not only a night of relaxation, but a bite to eat. We definitely encourage a visit to this historic site, even if you just have time to stop by and explore the historic building!
