Day 2: Maypop

Maypop is both a coffee house and a garden supply store. Located in Webster Groves, Maypop stands in an old brick house with a curated front yard. Inside is a minimally decorated space with a few splashes of color and plants. The coffee shop has all the usual coffee and espresso drinks, along with tea and a few pastry items and snacks.

Behind the coffee shop is a modest greenhouse with a variety of plants, shrubs, and other foliage. Interspersed among the plants are pots and other plant paraphernalia. Whether you’re looking for a particular plant, just browsing the selection, or simply want to enjoy the greenery, the garden shop is a nice place to visit and, perhaps, purchase a new friend for your garden or living room.

Maypop is a pleasant place to visit for a coffee and pastry, either to do some work in the nice space or to just enjoy a drink.
