Brewery Week – Day 4: Delaware

In today’s installment of Brewery Week, we journey to the east coast. Crooked Hammock Brewery has three locations, two in Delaware and one in South Carolina, though we visited one of the Delaware locations. The brewery resides near the Delaware beaches, so Crooked Hammock very much has a beach theme. The brewery is light, airy, and colorful. We sat at a table outside but underneath an overhang, so we were able to get lots of fresh air while still being out of the elements.

Crooked Hammock is a brewpub and has a large menu of typical pub-style food, such as wings, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. While there are several ocean-inspired items on the menu, there is also quite a bit of variety, so there should be something for everyone at Crooked Hammock. We shared a salad and a honey fried chicken sandwich, both of which we enjoyed. We also washed our food down with a tasting flight of some Crooked Hammock brews. We had a number of beers to choose from, most of which were brewed according to traditional styles, and had a fun time trying the different beers.

Crooked Hammock was a fun place to stop at for a bite to eat and a beer after a day exploring.
