Copper & Salt Northwest Kitchen is located near Point Defiance Park and overlooks Puget Sound. The restaurant is tucked inside a corner of the Silver Cloud Hotel in a clean, simple, and chic interior with dark tables and chairs, minimalist decor, and industrial accents. The focal point of the space is the wall of windows that look out to the Sound and provide a lovely backdrop to your meal.

As its name suggests, Copper & Salt imparts a northwest flair to its dishes, which feature local ingredients. While the restaurant offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options, we dined at Copper & Salt for dinner. We had a mixture of small plates, including the foccaccia, the beet salad, and the speck. Each dish was plated elegantly and was filled with flavor. We paired our meal with a cocktail, the Lavender 76, and a cabernet sauvignon from Copper & Salt’s wine list largely featuring Washington and Oregon wines. We ended our meal with a delicious Ganache Tart.

Copper & Salt offers a lovely dining experience and good food in a beautiful setting along Puget Sound. We recommend it for an evening out.
