Although our favorite area in Missouri for wine tasting is along the Missouri Weinstraße, we always enjoy trying new things! On a trip to Jefferson City we drove past St. Jordan Winery and decided to stop for a tasting. The winery is situated just off of highway 50 in a small wine tasting room. The room itself is nice and low-key, providing a much more relaxed wine tasting experience. When we visited we participated in a wine tasting to try an assortment of the wines. Our favorite was a wine similar to ice wine. It is often hard to find true ice wine, so anything that replicates the taste is always fun to try!
