Right off of Highway 90 through Washington there are several nice little places to pull off to stretch your legs and get a nice view! One of those is Sand Hollow Recreation Area. The stop off is along the Columbia River/Wanapum Lake, which provides a lovely view of the water. Sand Hollow offers visitors areas to camp, picnic, swim, walk around, and learn more about the area. When we visited we stopped off and enjoyed the breeze!
