Our absolute favorite area in the PNW is the Olympics. The area seems almost magical and we love exploring the larger areas, but also the little places tucked away that are often quieter and just provide a moment of respite. Sequim Bay State Park is one of those tiny places that you could easily miss, but if you want to have a nice place to yourself, the state park provides it. We visited on a nice fall day, sunny, mild temperatures, and did not see anyone else! Sequim Bay offers hiking, boating, camping, and, of course, views of the Sound. We spent an afternoon at Sequim Bay and just enjoyed the time to be in nature.
