A fun brewery in one of our favorite little towns is Paddle Stop Brewery in New Haven, MO. The brewery has only been open for about a year, but is definitely on our recommendation list! The brewery is situated in a former warehouse and features beautifully handcrafted wooden paddle boards along the walls. Throughout there are wood elements and colorful, but muted walls with metal accents throughout. The aesthetic is quite calming and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. There is also an outdoor patio to enjoy some food and drinks outside.

Paddle Stop Brewery has an assortment of beer styles, providing options for varying tastes. When we visited we got a flight to try an assortment of their beers and ordered food from the little pop-up kitchen that offers pub-style food. The beers were good, classic-styles and went perfectly with the pub-style food. We found both the beer and food were quite good! Paddle Stop Brewery made for the perfect relaxed afternoon. For those who want to extend their trip to New Haven, the brewery is located across from our absolute favorite distillery, Pinckney Bend Distillery, and around the corner from the riverfront that offers a short little trail and picnic tables along the river to enjoy the sights and sounds.
