The sweet little town of Dupont has an assortment of shops and restaurants, including Viva Mexican Restaurant. The restaurant is in loosely hacienda-style building and once inside the restaurant was broken up into three spaces. On the far-right end is the bar area, and then the middle and far-let side is primarily wood tables and booths. The decor consists of colorful walls, pottery, and art throughout. Viva Mexican Restaurant’s menu boasts being based in Guadalajara and has an assortment of antojitos, soups, salads, fajitas, tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, and dishes based around chicken and steak. Additionally, they offer an assortment of vegetable dishes, and cocktails. We ordered the fajitas and tacos, which were fine, and then enjoyed a walk around the Dupont area. We visited on a weeknight and it was still quite busy, so if you want to visit we recommend not visiting on an empty stomach!
