A Hawaiian restaurant chain that is available in the contiguous states as well is L&L Hawaiian BBQ. For those who are unable to take a flight to grab some Hawaiian food, L&L makes it a bit easier! The restaurant chain has over 200 locations in the United States, and additional locations internationally. We have visited the franchise in Tacoma area (Lakewood). The exterior notates the restaurant with a simple yellow and red sign in the shape of a surf board. Once inside the decor is fairly simple with checkered floors, standard dining tables, bright colors on the walls, and Hawaiian-themed items casually hung up.

L&L Hawaiian BBQ features Hawaiian-style BBQ, but also sides. The bbq flavoring is unique and full of flavor, making it distinct and delicious! The sides consist of a macaroni, rice, and cabbage. Visitors can get a variety of meat with side options, as well as bowls and burgers. The portions are L&L are also quite decent. The last time we visited we got a small and medium portion and were able to only eat about half, providing us with some leftovers for the falling day. We definitely recommend that anyone who lives in a city that has L&L give it a try!
