A little winery in Napa is Sequoia Grove Winery. The winery is situated along the main route of highway 128, and, as the name suggests, is situated underneath a small grove of Sequoias. The building itself is a wooden, rustic structure that is quite quaint and has a patio with tables and chairs scattered around. Visitors must make a reservation and are then taken to their individual table where the sommelier walks through the wine list with you. There are a couple of tastings you can choose from, including a food and wine pairing tasting. When we visited we participated in just a wine tasting, but had a delightful time just relaxing under the Sequoias, chatting with the sommelier about pairings, and enjoying the wine.
