Not to be confused with MacKenzie River Pizza in Montana, Mackenzie Brewing Co. in Valley Park, provides an easy stopping off point for those driving through St. Louis or those who live in the South County, West County, or Metro West due to the restaurants location right off of Highway 44. The brewery is situated in the Meramec Station Rd. strip that contains an assortment of restaurants and hotels. The brewery is in the midst of a row of businesses, with the sign to mark the brewery. Inside the brewery is simple room with the brewery on display in the back, the bar on the left hand side, and an assortment of tables and chairs throughout the room.

The brewery serves up both beer and pizza, making it a nice spot to grab a bite to eat and a drink for the those in the area. Visitors to Mackenzie Brewing Co. appear to mainly be regulars, as people often seemed to know one another and greet one another. When we visited we had recently eaten, so we were unable to try the pizza, but ordered a flight to try an assortment of Mackenzie Brewing Co.’s beers. There are an assortment of beers, but have a focus on Belgians. Besides beer, Mackenzie has different events, such as beer bingo for visitors to partake in. If you are in the area and like to try new breweries, Mackenzie Brewing Co. is an easily accessible spot to try.
