The charming town of Hoonesdale has a variety of little places to visit, including Sarfallotos Town House. The restaurant is situated on Main Street in the center of town near the town park. Scarfallotos is situated one-story building with stone work on the bottom half and siding on the top half. Inside the restaurant is a long room with booths along the window and a bar top along the back. There is also a cute little train track that runs along the top of the restaurant. Since the pandemic Scarfallotos has extended their seating by closing in their outdoor seating with windows that open and heaters.

Scarfallotos is a diner-style restaurant. Visitors can view the menu printed out on their individual place mat and consists of a wide variety of breakfast items, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, pizza, and more. We have always visited for brunch and enjoyed a variety of breakfast dishes. Family who lives in the area regularly frequest Scarfallotos Town House and has yet to be disappointed. The family-run business has been around since 1930 and continued to be a Honesdale classic.
